Established in 2008 by acclaimed producer and mixer Barny Barnicott, Blue Bell Hill Studios delivers a truly state-of-the-art recording experience in the heart of the Kent countryside.
At the centre of the studio is a beautifully day-lit control room, built around a 56-channel SSL G Series console — the legendary desk renowned for its warmth, punch, and unmistakable character. Paired with a spacious 50 sq m live room, the studio offers exceptional acoustics and flexibility, perfectly suited for full band tracking, retreats, writing camps, live sessions & mixing

The recently renovated residence at Blue Bell Hill offers luxurious on-site accommodation, featuring nine beautifully refurbished bedrooms and sleeping up to 16 guests in complete comfort.
Designed to complement the studio experience, the spacious open-plan lounge, kitchen and dining area creates a welcoming environment for artists, producers and crew to relax and recharge. A fully equipped games room adds to the sense of retreat, making downtime just as enjoyable as time spent in the studio.
Residence
Barny is responsible for mixing some of the biggest records of past 20 years, including Arctic Monkeys, Jungle, Coldplay, Bombay Bicycle Club, Kasabian, Suede, Placebo, Sam Fender and many more.
