There are three basic configurations
We can tailor any set up to your project, so you can bring in your own computer and interface, or just hook up to ours, its up to you.
We will set the studio up prior to your booking, and our in house engineer Clay, will always be on hand 24/7 to make sure everything runs smoothly throughout your session..
Hybrid
The SSL Series can run in parallel with the PreDesk, to get the most out of everything Blue Bell Hill has to offer.
This is a popular choice amongst experienced engineers and producers wanting the best of both analogue and digital worlds when writing, tracking and mixing.
Analogue
We can remove the SSL DAW controllers, and convert the PreDesk to user platforms for supporting laptops and keyboards, or we can remove the PreDesk completely.
The G series console can then be used directly for your processing and work flow.
This is usually the choice for engineers and producers recording and mixing more complex projects and used to working in the analogue domain.
Digital
The G series can be bypassed, and the SSL PreDesk can be used, if you are familiar with it, or it can be removed completely.
In this instance platforms can be inserted, for your personal laptops and keyboards, so you are set up just like in your personal studio, but with the great monitoring, acoustics and facilities that Blue Bell Hill offers.
This is the most common choice for ‘in the box’ writing retreats, producers and artists, to feel at home with familiar technology.
